I’ve just taken delivery of a 2017 calendar featuring my photos and a few notes about the plant featured. The calendars are $10 each, plus P&P ($3 in NZ; $3.30 in Australia; and $4 for the rest of the world). The shipping costs are for single calendars – if you’d like more than one I will find the cheapest way to post it. If you’d like to pay by PayPal, please email me to arrange it or to ask any other questions.
The plants featured are:
Cover- crabapple blossom (the same image as you can see on my spring header above); January – NZ flax (and a bellbird); February – Aciphylla; March – the flower of NZ’s native palm; April – chrysanthemums in Japan; May – NZ’s giant tussock; June – pine trees in Japan; July – Sarracenia; August – Dendrobium orchid; September – Prunus Awanui (and a waxeye); October – Romneya coulteri in Canada; November – a Tauranga-bred rose; December – pohutukawa.
Most of the photos were taken in New Zealand and many of them in and around Tauranga. Each photo page is landscape A4, when unfolded the date page makes it portrait A3. The calendar is full colour, printed on good-quality paper and is hole-punched for wall hanging.
