Camellia Show results

Popped in to the Camellia Show in Tauranga earlier this afternoon and although it hasn’t been a great growing season – too warm and too much rain – there was a room full of pretty flowers.

Champion bloom was won by Bernie and Claire Stevenson of Katikati with Peggy Burton, the flower also taking the Best Hybrid award.

Best Japonica: Mrs DW Davis grown by D and J Beard. Best Reticulata or Reticulata Hybrid: Queen Bee grown by Ailsa James. Best Small Flower: Maroon & Gold grown by Ailsa James. Best Miniature: Hishi-Karaito grown by Caroll Anderton. Best Novice: Nicky Crisp grown by C Hare.
